Problema com Resolução [UBUNTU 8.04]

Olá,

eu tenho um CD Live personalizado do Ubuntu 8.04 e estou enfrentando problemas na hora de instalar em vários computadores.

Eu inicio o Live e installo pela opção 'install', na hora da instalação funciona normal. Porém quando vou executar o SO de fato aparece "Mode Not Supported" então tenho que usar o comando "CTRL ALT +" para poder ajustar a tela e ficar normal.

Mas se eu reiniciar a máquina, continua com o mesmo problema Triste

Instalei num PC com uma placa-mãe ASUS e funcionou sem problemas. E esse que está dando problema é da placa-mãe Gigabyte.

Alguém poderia me indicar qual o problema em si?

* Já tentei reiniciar o Xorg.conf e não deu certo também

Tenta deixar seu Xorg assim, faz um backup do antigo.
Substitua 1280x1024 pela resolução que voce queira.

Ai é so reiniciar.
